International Holocaust Remembrance Day

The Dolan Law Firm recognizes International Holocaust Remembrance Day on January 27, 2022. The United Nations General Assembly designated January 27—the anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau, on this date in 1945 —as International Holocaust Remembrance Day. The Holocaust was the state-sponsored persecution and murder of European Jews by Nazi Germany and its collaborators between 1933 and 1945.Today, we pause to remember victims and survivors of the Holocaust, which resulted in the murder of one-third of the Jewish people, along with countless members of other minority groups.
