Pedestrian Killed While Walking In Crosswalk On Fremont Blvd

Fremont, CA (June 19^th, 2017) – Sara Ojeda, 47, was fatally struck in a crosswalk last Wednesday morning(June 14, 2017) at the intersection of Fremont Boulevard and Capitol Avenue. The incident occurred around 7:30 am.

Police stated Ms. Ojeda was in the crosswalk when she was hit by an unidentified man driving a Ford van, the van was making a right turn out of the Fremont Hub shopping center and south bound onto Fremont Blvd.

The driver of the van stayed on the scene and cooperated with investigators.
