Head on Car Collision In Brentwood Causes Critical Injuries
Car Accident Due To Driver Crossing Into Oncoming Traffic, CHP Investigating Car Crash
Brentwood, CA (September 26, 2016) – At 6:02 a.m. on Monday, September 26, 2016, a two car crash occurred at Marsh Creek Road and Deer Valley Road in an unincorporated portion of Brentwood. Firefighters on Engine 52 of the East Contra Costa Fire Department were the first responders to the scene and reported that a female occupant in one of the vehicles was suffering from moderate to critical injuries. They also reported that it was a two vehicle crash with heavy front end damage to the vehicles. The crash is currently under investigation by the California Highway Patrol (CHP). The CHP stated that it appeared that the cause of the crash was due to one of the drivers crossing over the yellow line and into oncoming traffic.We offer our deepest condolences to the female passenger who was injured and hope for her swift recovery.
