12 Pedestrians Have Been Killed in San Jose Traffic-Related Accidents This Year

San Jose, CA (September 20, 2016) – A pedestrian was killed in San Jose in a hit-and-run crash at cross streets of King Road and Tully Road on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at around midnight.  Officers responded to the scene at 12:22 a.m. and located the man who was killed and pronounced the man deceased at the scene.

The fatality constitutes the 31^st person to be killed in a San Jose traffic-related incident this year, the Mercury News reports.  Specifically, it is the 12^th pedestrian in San Jose to be killed this year.

There is no information regarding the suspected driver of the vehicle that struck the pedestrian.  However, Sgt. Enrique Garcia reported that a white SUV may be involved in the crash.  Anyone that has information regarding this case is being asked to call the San Jose police investigator Kelvin Pham at 408-277-4654.
