CBS San Francisco reports that at least five people were injured after a pair of high school students decided to drag race BMWs down a residential street in San Jose.

Authorities say that the two high school students lost control of their BMWs and one of the cars ended up "fully inside" of a house near the intersection of Gregg Drive and Leigh Avenue, near Leigh High School.

A woman was found in the rubble of what used to be the house's kitchen. Authorities say that the 40-year-old mother was critically injured and found screaming for help finding her daughter.

The small girl was found under the rubble of the home's roof virtually unhurt. Reports indicate that the little girl only suffered a single cut.

Authorities rushed the mother to the hospital for treatment of her life-threatening injuries. Three people were found the BMW, which was "fully inside" of the home.

The second BMW driver landed on the sidewalk and crashed into a pole. One person was injured in that car crash and they declined treatment.

Witnesses to the crashes say that the drivers were speeding down Leigh Avenue before losing control. Area residents say that teens from the nearby high school routinely peel out of the school's parking lot.
