San Bernadino motorcyclist killed by multiple hit and run drivers By chris on September 27, 2010

A 33-year-old motorcyclist identified as Eric Dewayne Tyler, Sr., 33, of Adelanto, California, was killed this weekend after being run over by a big-rig and several other vehicles along Interstate 15 in Victorville late Saturday night.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the victim laid his 2004 Suzuki down on the right hand shoulder for unknown reasons before crashing into a roadway sign and landing in the freeway's slow lane, where he was hit by a succession of vehicles, none of which stopped at the scene. Tyler was pronounced dead at the scene of the collision at around 11:45 PM.

Our hearts and prayers go out to the family of the victim of this horrible tragedy. The CHP currently has no information on the big-rig or any of the other vehicles that struck the motorcyclist. They encourage anyone with information on this incident to call the CHP at 760-241-1186. We encourage anyone with information on this tragic hit and run to contact the CHP to help provide information to the officers and closure to the family.
