Ema Rocha is an Associate Attorney with the Employment Team at Dolan Law Firm’s Oakland office.

Ema graduated from Golden Gate University School of Law in May of 2022. During law school, she earned the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for her work in Legal Writing and Research I, Employment Law, and Business Associations. Additionally, Ema participated in both the Immigration and Women’s Employment Rights Clinic where she gained invaluable training and the opportunity to develop her skills in the legal field early on.

Before joining our firm, Ema spent two years practicing immigration law where she advocated for individuals and families seeking asylum and other forms of relief in the United States. Additionally, Ema collaborated with immigrant communities to ensure that individuals had access to resources and understood their rights. Through this work, Ema learned first-hand how advocates could help empower individuals and create meaningful change in their lives.

Ema is excited to be working with the Dolan Law Firm where she can continue advocating for individuals by ensuring that their rights are protected in the workplace.
